Holcim GIZ Guidelines on Co-processing

One of the major objectives of these Guidelines is to help make waste management more efficient by offering objective tive information about co-processing of waste in the cement industry.

Basel Convention says
“Co-processing of wastes in properly controlled cement kilns provides energy and materials recovery while cement is being produced, offering an environmentally sound recovery option for many waste materials.”
