Holcim Belgium treats several 10-thousand tons of Aluminium (Alu) waste by Co-processing them in the Obourg cement kilns.

 

This Alu waste can originate from drinking water sludges, spent catalysts, or retreatment of Alu containing salt slags and many others. Geocycle diverts this waste from landfills by co-processing then in the cement kilns where the mineral content in them gets recycled.
