Geocycle East US Director Shares Insights for Global Students on Achieving a More Sustainable Future

Recently Paolo Carollo, Director, Geocycle , East US, had the opportunity to deliver a guest lecture at the International Solid Waste Association for students in the Solid Waste Institute for Sustainability (SWIS) Winter School, a 10-day course held at the University of Texas Arlington campus. Paolo provided information and shared ideas with SWIS students, a mix of waste professionals from government agencies and doctorate students, hailing from all over the world. His lecture focused on how co-processing of waste in cement kilns can help communities manage the challenges of increasing waste generation and plastic pollution as well as support the transition to a low-carbon circular economy.
