As global leaders in sustainable waste management services, Geocycle together with Holcim is committed to contributing to a cleaner and resource efficient future. One of our success stories is the Cizkovice plant in the Czech Republic. For many years now, the plant has been safely recovering and recycling large volumes of industrial and sorted municipal waste in its cement kiln. This year, the recovered heat from waste will save approximately 100,000t of natural resources and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. In a nutshell, It is a great combination of circular economy and decarbonisation.

The outstanding efforts of Martin Kadlec, Plant Manager, Cizkovice plant, and Jan Rechtacek, Geocycle Manager of Czech Republic have been instrumental to this success. Christian Lampl, Geocycle Manager, LHCEE credits the entire team and commented that "all achievements are possible with the commitment and efforts of all employees".
