Siam City Cement has been granted Licenses Code 101 by the Department of Industrial Works. This allows the company to co-process both hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in its cement kilns.
Using Holcim global network of assets and drawing on the expertise of its professionals throughout the world, Siam City Cement utilizes co-processing to safely, effectively and reliably dispose waste streams that cannot be traditionally recycled. SCCC employs a unique process to incorporate the energy potential and mineral components of a wide range of waste into the manufacture of an essential product – cement – reducing dependency on fossil fuels and natural resources.
Geocycle focuses on solving the waste management challenges of customers in a wide range of industrial sectors, including generators of waste materials in liquid, solid and sludge forms. We operate waste pre-treatment facilities and equipment located in Saraburi. Once pre-treated, all waste is transferred for co-processing in the cement kilns of Siam City Cement and is used as alternative fuels and raw materials.
